Air Mobility Command Museum Enjoyed by All

Club members from the north and south came together to enjoy the Air Mobility Command Museum located at Dover AFB. Amazing place with all of the interesting and historical planes on the tarmac as well as a first class museum memorializing all of the work of the pilots, crews and soldiers involved in military air transport over the years. Club members were treated to a personal tour courtesy of museum staff, with one of the highlights being able to go to the top of the old control tower. The museum offered a rich historical view with a special focus on planes and equipment from the Second World War. Club members also enjoyed a picnic in the warm but breezy weather. Special thanks to Ian McDermott for helping to coordinate this event.
